The first raids unlock December 9, 2026 at level 60 (planned; Blizzard says dates may change). Drag adventurers from the bench into parties of five.

Barrow Deeps has entrances in Mount Hyjal, Winterspring and Blackmaw Hold. Hyjal Summit sits at the top of Mount Hyjal. Onyxia's Lair (40-player) opens the same day and needs the Drakefire Amulet attunement, so it is not planned here.

The PvP ruleset

Contested world
You can be attacked by the Alliance almost anywhere, with no flagging needed.
One faction
Characters on this ruleset belong to a single faction, so everyone in the guild rolls Horde.
Grouping
Parties cannot form across rulesets. Battlegrounds do mix rulesets, except Hardcore.

Professions

Two primary slots
Choose from nine. Cooking, First Aid and Fishing are always free.
Ranks
Apprentice at level 5 (skill to 75), Journeyman at 10 (150), Expert at 20 (225), Artisan at 35 (300).
Certification
At skill 300, Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Leatherworking and Tailoring can buy one for an account-wide title.
Healing potions
Moved from Alchemy to First Aid.

Skyborne (Windshaper)

New race
Starts on Zephras Isle and joins the Horde as the Windshaper at character creation.
Classes
Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Druid and Shaman.
Cost
Needs a paid upgrade pack. Every other race and class is included with game time.
